Houdini - Americas first superhero to grace the big screen

Based on the book The Secret Life of Houdini: The Making of Americas First Superhero, this film is set to offer up a different side to the Houdini everyone knows. In the book it suggested that Houdini in fact acted as a spy for the British and was involved in numerous secret service and police organizations. The film will focus on the time he spent in New York during the early 20th Century.

Joe Wright is in consideration to helm the movie.
