Eliza Dushku is getting catty!
The Buffy and Dollhouse alum who provided the sultry voice for Catwoman in 2011's animated Batman: Year One and bonus DVD short film Catwoman has revealed that her femme fatale tangles in the animated world of Gotham City have left her wanting more... Could she be join Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel?
When asked whether she'd like to reprise the role of Catwoman at some point down the line, the actress commented that:
I of course will keep my phone on and would scratch and claw at the chance to film her in live action form.
Warner Bros. Animation's popular series of adaptations of stories from the DC Comics archives was unflinchingly loyal to Frank Miller's source material - so it's not really surprising that Dushku's enjoyable experiences influenced her confession that she would jump at the chance to play Batman's iconic fiend/object of affection again, if the opportunity arose.
So, could that opportunity be actually arise? Well, 33-year-old Dushku would certainly be age-appropriate for Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman vs. Superman because a 41-year-old Batfleck might suggest that Snyder's not looking for some teenager to play supervillainess Selina Kyle.
Now that we know we'll be seeing a young Selina Kyle in the upcoming Batman series Gotham, my suspicious have been roused that we may see the leather-clad trouble-maker pop up in Batman vs. Superman in 2016. If so, would Dushku be right for the role? Selina is Bruce's great pursuit, she's the goddess of the hunt, and she needs to be sexually powerful and quick-witted.
What do you guys think? Would Eliza Dushku be purrrfect for another go as Catwoman? Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
