Bad news, fanboys: Jennifer Lawrence isn't getting naked in 'Days of Future Past'
Good news for Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, bad news for fanboys everywhere, the actress will not be getting naked to get into her Mystique role this time around.
The X-Men: Days Of Future Past actress reveals she'll be wearing a bodysuit during filming, telling E!:
I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit. It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters.
Things didn't go so well for Lawrence on the set of X-Men: First Class, as she had a horrible reaction to the body paint used to turn her into the mutant Mystique. Her skin irritation and blisters were so bad at one point that a doctor had to be called onto the set. Add that to the fact it took seven women manhandling her for eight hours a day to get the body paint and latex applied, it's no wonder the actress is stoked about not having to endure the lengthy and painful process again.
The always-candid Lawrence also informed E! that, well, she hasn't actually gotten around to reading the script yet but that she starts filming
May-ish. I haven't read the script yet. I haven't had 30 minutes. They literally gave me the script and I was like, "I can't read this until Monday."
With a newly-minted Oscar under her belt and news that she will be blister-free this time around, life is looking pretty good for the quirky actress.
