The Amazing Spider-Man 2 could potentially be one of the most super-villain saturated movies of all time. We've already got Rhino and Electro confirmed, but there also serious suggestions that Green Goblin and Vulture could also make an appearance. Throw in the morally ambiguous Black Cat, and you've got potential for a massive superhero throw-down.

Although we've seen Jamie Foxx as Electro and Paul Giamatti as Rhino, we've yet to see anything from the much rumored Green Goblin. We got a brief description of Norman Osborne's alter-ego a few weeks ago, but now we've got a more in-depth one which is sure to be pretty controversial. A source told ComicBookMovie:

As previously reported, Green Goblin's suit will be made up entirely of matte black armor that resembles a hi-tech motocross suit. The suit will remain open-faced, and there will be no helmet at all. Norman will have green hair that is spiked high up. In his ears, he will be wearing a Bluetooth device that will make it look as though he has the Green Goblin's signature pointed ears, the same way Selina Kyle's goggles worked in creating the illusion that she had cat ears. The back of the armor has a spine. At the moment, there are no green accents. From a distance, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Tony Stark's signature Mark XLII armor had been painted black.

Spiked up green hair. Did anyone else immediately think of these guys? I get the feeling this description might jar with some hardcore Spidey-fans, although with the aid of only a text description, it might be hard to accurately get an idea of the finished product.

What do you think? Does this new Green Goblin look sound good to you, or does it leave you pining for the Sam Raimi's Green Goblin design? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
