'Walking Dead' actress pleads guilty in plot to poison Obama
Walking Dead actress, Shannon Guess Richardson has pleaded guilty to posting ricin laced letters to President Obama and New York Mayor, Mark Bloomberg.
Richardson was arrested in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on Friday and was formally charged with mailing a threatening communication to the President of the United States.
According to a report by NBC, the actress had previously called the Federal Bureau of Investigation to accuse her army veteran husband of sending the letters. After further investigation it has been reportedly discovered that she had, in fact, sent the potentially lethal letters herself.
The malicious mail was discovered during a routine postal screening process and a copy of the letter obtained by NBC contains a chilling message;
You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns. Anyone who wants to come to my house will get shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God given right and I will exercise that right till the day I die
