There are tons of cameos in the ridiculously successful film [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073). Did you ever wonder which cameo is James Gunn's favorite? Well I have. That's why when I got the chance to sit down with him, that's exactly what I asked.

Well, there you have it. Personally, I completely understand his answer. I'm pretty sure if I was able to put my dog in my movie he would have be my favorite, too. Especially if he's as talented as Gunn's dog.

Here are 6 AMAZING cameos that you might have missed!

Stan Lee

He is the godfather of Marvel comics and creator of Spiderman, The Fantastic 4, The Hulk, and many more. If it wasn't for Stan Lee the Marvel universe may simply have never existed. Stan Lee can be seen flirting with a woman on Xander early on in the movie.

Lloyd Kaufman

James Gunn and Lloyd Kaufman have been good friends for years. Kaufman was born and raised in New York City. He is the owner and operator of Troma Studios, which is America's leading B-movie production company for over 30 years. You can see Lloyd Kaufman as one of the prisoners in the Kylm. When are heroes first arrive, he can be seen on the balcony screaming down at them.

James Gunn

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, his film career started at age 12, making 8mm zombie films with his brothers. In 1996 he wrote and produced the cult classic Tromeo and Juliet for Troma Studios. This was the start of a long and impressive film career that eventually lead to writing and directing Guardians of the Galaxy. James Gunn's cameo is of a mask-less Sakaaran who faces off with Yondu on Xander (the arrow scene).

Sean Gunn

He is a terrific actor and brother of James Gunn. Technically Sean has a role in the film and not a cameo. He plays Yondu's first mate Kraglin. But I included him because he also played the onset stand-in for the character Rocket, as seen in the photo above.

Nathan Fillion (Left) - Rob Zombie (Right)

Nathan Fillion

He is an actor best known for his title role in Castle and his performance as captain Mel Reynolds in the cult TV show Firefly. Fillion's cameo is in the Kyln prison. He voiced the big ugly alien that was planning on making Star-lord his girlfriend before Groot picked him up by his nose.

Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie is a famous musician and a talented writer and director of horror films like House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects, and the new Halloween part 1 and 2. Rob Zombie voices one of the Ravager's in Yondu's crew.
