James Gunn has made it public knowledge that Guardians of the Galaxy's biggest Easter egg has yet to be discovered. With theories ranging from the discovery of Beta Ray Bill to the inclusion of another Infinity Stone, Gunn has shot down every one and claims no one has discovered it, until now.

One eagle eyed Reddit user, named Neodrayki, has claimed to have found the last Easter egg.

James Gunn has made it known that the "biggest" Easter Egg has yet to be found. With all the talk regarding StarLord's potential father, this caught my eye. I've never seen this posted before, so apologies if it has been.

Neodrakyi stated before posting this screenshot from the movie's final moments.

Gunn has mentioned that we saw StarLord's father before.

Peter's mom said his father was "an angel." In AoS, Kree (like Mar-Vell) were referred to as Angels.

The only thing that doesn't fit is that Nova Prime said his father was "something ancient" they have never seen there. That could be some sort of influence of the Nega bands though.

And c'mon, look at that picture.

For the uninitiated, those two pictures are of Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel. Rumors have been circulating for some time that Mar-Vell is Star-Lord's father, with many sites claiming this to be the role Matthew McConaughey turned down.

While the pictures do draw a lot of similarities with the hologram, he does state that Nova Prime refers to Quill's father as "something ancient." While I was quick to dismiss this theory on that alone, I remembered a major fact from the comic universe.

In the 616 universe, there are blue and pink (Caucasian) Kree. What if James Gunn has decided that pink Kree are in fact ancient beings? If so, this could very well be the final Easter egg!

Whoever his father is, we can only hope Star-Lord's rockin' dance moves are hereditary:
