I just wanna talk about superheroes and Game of Thrones.

We all have our favorite superheroes and think they're simply the best! I would say that Spider-Man could probably take on anyone and come out victoriously. One must also wonder how much does intelligence comes into play when factoring a superhero's fighting chance!

Y'see, using science, students at University of Leicester spent several short years studying superheroes' powers! Right now, you're thinking that Superman would probably be the best superhero at Marvel or DC, right? Well, you're right! Also, this study suggests that Batman is the most ill-equipped hero to save his city.

WHO ELSE?

The vast majority of X-Men fans will proclaim that Wolverine is their favorite Mutant of all-time. Now, they can say that Old Man Logan is the best Marvel character, and they have science to back them up. He has Adamatium claws and a healing factor that makes me envious every time I get a paper-cut! Wait, did we really need science to tell us that Superman and Wolverine are the best heroes? Check out this chart for ''pros and cons'' for more information:

LET'S REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS

I'd like to point out that this chart says, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man and everyone besides Superman does not have super strength. There are a few other things that might make you scratch your head, but this kinda took cake for me . I'm not trying to say that they're wrong or this complete hooey. WHAT ELSE DID THAT PRESS RELEASE SAY?

In a series of papers published between 2009-2016 in the University of Leicester’s Journal of Physics Special Topics and Journal of Interdisciplinary Science Topics, student research has determined whether or not the seemingly superhuman abilities used by the famous characters in films and comic books are in fact possible.

Whilst Black Bolt, ruler of the ‘Inhumans’, may be the most destructive of the superheroes (capable of planetary annihilation), the student work suggests that, based on the range of superpowers at his disposal and the only limiting factor seemingly being the planet’s Sun, the ‘Last Son of Krypton’ Superman is likely to be the best equipped to win in an epic clash between all of the studied superheroes.

Boasting a super-powered array of skills, Superman, if obeying the ‘Law of Energy Conservation’, could exhibit a calculated stored solar energy output of 7.07x105 Joules per second for his ‘Super Flare’ attack. It is also shown that the ‘Man of Steel’, in theory, could have higher density muscle tissue than the average human which could aid in several of his superhuman abilities.

This incredible display of power makes Superman the number one candidate for ‘most powerful superhero’.

WHY IS BATMAN THE MOST ILL-EQUIPPED SUPERHERO?

Though his cape proves to be a vital utility when gliding in comic and media depictions, the student-led research suggests that when gliding Batman reaches velocities of around 80km/hr - which could be fatal upon landing.

This inability to perform even the simplest of superhero feats suggest Batman would struggle to get off the ground, let alone save Gotham from the likes of The Joker and Bane.

CONCLUSION

I love Superman, so, he can have this victory on, Superman Day (June 12)! Yep, today is the Man of Steel's day to do whatever he likes. Wait, nope, just a day to celebrate how important he's been to all who loves comics. Today is a great to day check out, Superman: Rebirth, and see if you're digging what DC is trying to do with Clark Kent. Lastly, I know this chart says Batman is the weakest, but we all know better!
