Link shows off new armor in 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' trailer!

E3 surprised fans Tuesday morning by releasing an official trailer for the new Legend of Zelda game title Breath of the Wild! The game was officially announced in 2013, but then was delayed from its 2015 release, so getting a title much less a trailer was an extra treat for fans today. Considering this year is the 30th anniversary of the game, the timing is fitting.

Breath of the Wild is said to be completely different from its predecessor, as well as any other game Nintendo has done before! Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told fans "This is easily one of the biggest experiences ever created by Nintendo," while the game is described as a “truly seamless” experience that transforms the open world of Hyrule into “a resource, an ally, an enemy, and always a place for discovery and wonder.”

In the trailer we see Link traveling open landscapes and exploring ancient structures. He is cooks, shoots arrows, battles unknown enemies, and is even seen in new armor. Something else I noticed was a much lighter and bluer tone to the game than the previous dark green undertones of The Legend of Zelda. Watch the new trailer below!

Pretty cool right? Link definitely is wearing a lot of blue, and the game has almost a tribal theme to it! Nintendo is very excited about the release of the new Zelda, and has spent much of E3 touting it!

Breath of the Wild will be available sometime in 2017 on both Nintendo’s Wii U and Nintendo’s mysterious new NX console, to which we have zero details on!
