In the midst of a seemingly never-ending slew of casting announcements, one more actor has been added the ranks of The CW's Arrow. Today it was confirmed by IGN that Chad L. Coleman, best known as Tyreese on seasons 3–5 of AMC's The Walking Dead, would join Arrow in the Season 5 premiere.

Coleman will reportedly play the series' new villain Tobias Church. The antagonist has been described as "an imposing gangster looking to unite the various criminal enterprises in Star City under his own singular command." In addition to The Walking Dead, Coleman is also known for his work on The Wire and The Expanse.

Also recently added to the Season 5 regulars cast list for Arrow are Madison McLaughlin, who will reprise her role of Evelyn Sharp, a.k.a. Artemis, Rick Gonzalez as Jack Wheeler, a.k.a Wild Dog, and Josh Segarra as Adrian Chase, a.k.a Vigilante.

If Coleman picked up any of his fighting skills from The Walking Dead — or if he is able to bring his lucky hammer with him — then it looks like he'll put up one hell of a fight against Oliver Queen and the gang.

Season 5 of Arrow will premiere on The CW on October 5.
