With a lot of fan attention in the wake of Captain America: Civil War running the gamut of: "Holy crap that was awesome" to "No, seriously, how good was that?" and, of course, the possibility of a Synthezoid and an Inhuman doing it, there wasn't a whole lot of room for much else for a while there.

Eventually, things calmed down enough that we could all move on to more pressing concerns — like Captain America's sex life. A movement soon arose to #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend, something that actually makes a whole lot more sense within MCU canon than it initially did. Just so long as that boyfriend is Bucky "The Winter Soldier" Barnes. What we weren't 100 percent sure of, though, was exactly what the man behind Bucky thought about the whole thing.

Sebastian Stan Reveals Exactly What He Thinks About A Cap/Bucky Romance

As it turns out, he has mixed feelings about the whole thing, revealing to GQ:

"Look, man, I think it’s great. Movies are for people to relate to in whatever way they want. No one here is ever going to point a finger and say what’s right and wrong. For me, it’s like, Awww. It’s cute, it’s great. If someone takes the time to think about that, that's great. I don’t think of the character that way, though. But there’s no right or wrong answer.

That and, y'know, avoiding having Cap make out with multiple female members of the Carter family.

If Cap and Bucky doesn't become a thing, could that mean we're finally going to get the chance to see Bucky and Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff get (weirdly) romantically involved in the MCU, just like in the comic books?

If so, Jeremy Renner's going to be pissed.
