Critics of the latest Green Lantern (2011) movie were less than affectionate, meaning the DC Extended Universe reboot entitled Green Lantern Corps will be walking on eggshells throughout each step of the production.

While the cast is being shaped together, many suggestions for the role of John Stewart have come about, including Idris Elba, Tyrese Gibson, Ice Cube, and DeMark Thompson. However, English actor Robert Kazinsky is more concerned with the other guy, Guy Gardner.

You may recognize the actor from Warcraft: The Beginning (2016), Second Chance (2016), True Blood (2013), or Pacific Rim (2013). When asked via Twitter which superhero Kazinsky would enjoy portraying, he delivered quite the loaded answer:

"If I was younger, Barry Allen. Other than that, Guy Gardner. I'll take him. I'll play Darkseid. Can I play Darkseid? I'd like to play Darkseid. Oh, can I be Batman? I'd like to be Batman as well. Maybe Supes, I could definitely be Superman. Is there anyone I wouldn't like to be superhero-wise? Captain Britain, I'll be him. Wonder Twins — I can't play twins. I can be a bucket..."

Kazinsky was obviously approaching the inquiry in a light-hearted and humorous manner. Regardless, they do say that behind every joke, there is some underlaying truth. In other words, Rob should be cast as a bucket — no question about it. But first, shall we give him a chance with the Guy Gardner role before he retires as a liquid container?

Do you think Rob Kazinsky has what it takes to play Guy Gardner in Green Lantern Corps?
