Have you had the chance to check out The Star Wars Show on the Star Wars YouTube channel? If not, you've definitely been missing out. It averages about five minutes each week and is packed with news, interviews, and all kinds of other cool things from the galaxy far, far away!

This week, hosts Andy and Peter revealed that Star Wars Celebration Europe will be live-streamed on YouTube! On top of that, next week's episode will feature special looks at Celebration before it starts on the 15th.

With Celebration Europe only a few days away, I wanted to talk about what we can expect from this year's Star Wars Celebration! Be sure to also check out what we hope to see at the show.

Rogue One

We learned earlier this week that a new three minute trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will premiere on ABC the day Celebration starts (July 15). We can no doubt expect to see that trailer featured during a panel, or during the opening presentation. If you haven't yet, check out the first trailer for the film:

The new trailer should bring some new information about the highly anticipated film. Rogue One's director, Gareth Edwards, will also be attending and will be part of a panel focused on Star Wars creators. It's unclear right now what we could learn from that panel. Be sure to keep an eye on Movie Pilot for any Rogue One news coming out of Celebration!

Star Wars: Episode VIII

Last year, the main focus of Celebration was Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This year — though most of the news will probably revolve around Rogue One — we can definitely expect a tidbit or two involving the eighth installment of the main Star Wars saga.

Rian Johnson, who wrote and directed the film, will also appear on the Star Wars creators panel. Again, we don't know what he may reveal, but Movie Pilot will keep you posted.

Star Wars: Rebels

If you're a fan of Star Wars' animated TV offerings, you're in for a treat! If last year is any indication of what we'll see this year, you should hold onto your hats. Last year's Celebration brought us a trailer for Star Wars: Rebels Season 2 and it was amazing:

Dave Filoni, the executive producer of Rebels, made sure to tease everything he possibly could during last year's Celebration. I doubt this year will be any different. Expect tons of interesting little teases from the cast and crew to hold you over until the premiere of Season 3 in the fall. Here's a rundown of what happened the last time we saw Rebels!

EA's Star Wars

EA has been hard at work producing new Star Wars titles for us to get our hands on. They'll be in attendance and are sure to have something interesting to present. Their Star Wars MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, will also be there to give us more information about the future of the game, especially their latest, must play, expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire.

Guests

One of the highlights of any convention are the special guests. This year Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will be doing panels along with LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy. Be sure to catch Fisher's panel; it's always a highlight for me.

Celebration is barreling towards us like a herd of banthas! Whether you're attending the event in person, or enjoying the festivities via the live-stream, you're sure to enjoy this year's Star Wars Celebration!
