Ben Affleck has taken over the reins of Batman. Not only as portraying the character but from behind the scenes as well. It is known that he is working on a solo Batman film but exactly when that movie will come out is still up in the air. In fact, it doesn't even have a title but is rumored to be called The Batman. Now there is plenty of time to speculate as to what the movie will be about. The bigger question is who the villain of the movie will be. Batman is unique as he has had the most movies out of any superhero and so many of us his villains have been portrayed already. He is also unique because his gallery of villains is also vast and still there is left to be explored. So here are my choices for the three perfect villains to be used in The Batman.

Clayface

The Mad Hatter
The Mad Hatter
The Riddler
The Riddler

Clayface - depending on the version, Clayface can either be a former actor or just a simple thug. One thing that cannot be changed is that Clayface is a dangerous shapeshifter. This will help differentiate him from previous Batman villains on screen as there have never really been any with superpowers. It will also enable a Batman film to highlight his many skills such as his detective skills, which are never really highlighted on film.

The Mad Hatter - This will be an interesting one as The Mad Hatter is nowhere near a physical match for Batman. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in his technical genius. This villain loves to play mind games with his victims and especially Batman. His tech could be used to highlight as to what exactly makes this Batman tick. He could help us really delve into Batman's psyche all while trying to break him mentally.

The Riddler - The Riddler has already been portrayed on the big screen with Jim Carrey being his actor. While that version was manic, it would be interesting to see a more calm and collected Riddler. A version of The Riddler more in line with the one seen on the animated series from the 90's. While he was definitely unhinged, he always kept it under a calm and smug demeanor. This villain could also be used to highlight how intelligent Batman is. Also how The Riddler probably could be smarter than Batman if he didn't have that whole insanity thing going for him.

These are my three perfect villains for the solo Batman movie. It is all ultimately in the air. I have no insight as to who they might go with. Rumor is that there will be more than one villain. Whatever the case may be, it is still exciting to see the possibilities of who might end up on the big screen. Who would your three perfect villains be?
