I just wanna talk about superheroes and Game of Thrones.

OK, I know that a lot of people are currently wishing that Fox joins the MCU, and honestly, it's a real possibility! Sony proved that dreams can come true with Spider-Man! Realistically, this probably won't happen until a few years down the road. It makes sense to have this happen after Marvel's Infinity War. Don't forget though: In the new lineup for Marvel NOW! there are a lot of mutant comics missing. That's a tad worrisome

Also, Marvel will have their own movies ( a sh*t ton), but that still means there's plenty of room for movies that deal solely with the X-Men. I really don't expect any of their upcoming movies (besides Deadpool 2 and Wolverine 3) to really tear up the box office. Lastly, I don't expect any news this year, but wait a little longer and I'll bet we'll start getting teasers soon enough.

X-Men has a vast majority of characters, and it's impossible to think we will see them all in Marvel's MCU. The best part of this deal is that any mutant can guest star in other movies. That's music to my ears, and I can't wait to see this happen!

A quick list of obvious choices:

  • Deadpool
  • Storm
  • Jean Grey
  • Magneto
  • Professor X
  • And plenty more

Here are five mutants that I can't wait to hopefully see in Marvel's MCU that aren't quite so obvious!

1. X-23 (Wolverine)

I know that we all want to see the male version, but I become giddy thinking about Laura Kinney battling with The Avengers. I'm not quite sure if she warrants her own movie yet, but seeing her in someone other hero's movie would be insane. She would be one of the most complex characters in all of the Marvel's MCU. I would guess that she and Bucky would probably become besties!

2. Kitty Pryde

With the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming coming out next month, one must think how crazy of a love triangle it'd be with her and Mary Jane Watson! Plus, she has a super-cool powers — she can walk though walls and disrupt enemies electronics when she phases through them. It would be so cool to see her at Peter's school and all the bullying she goes though because she's a mutant. Trust me, she's way more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

3. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Now, there's quite a bit of controversy as of late. At first she was a mutant, but more recently, was a doctor says that it was pills that turned her into one of the best superheroes on the face of the planet. Personally, I hope that there's no discussion about the matter and she could be in Marvel's MCU no matter what. But, if there's a problem, then I want Doreen Gray to become a hero in this universe!

4. Beast

Please, don't think that he could be considered overplayed at this point. I get goosebumps just thinking about how he, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner talk about science with one another. He has one of the biggest hearts of anyone in comic books and belongs in Marvel's MCU. Plus. I would love to see him fight a bunch of bad guys to prove how much of badass he truly is. Sh*t, I would love to see him fight Bucky and actually win!

5. Gambit

I don't care, I really want to see him in Marvel's MCU as Channing Tatum! I loved X-Men: The Animated Series, and Gambit is one the most awesome characters ever. It'd be so cool to see him team up with certain characters and basically -- just let him be Gambit. He has one of the most interesting backstories in all of comics. If this does happen, then Marvel is a fool for not including Gambit.

Conclusion

We can all dream that this will come to fruition, and it would the best thing for the internet besides a Taylor Swift and a Justin Bieber sex tape. Why wouldn't you want a powerhouse like Marvel helping you create films. They receive all the profits from their solo films and they can gain even greater exposure from other characters appearing on non-related X-Men movies. Lastly, I think this will happen, and expect all of us to go absolutely ape-shit when it's finalized!

DO YOU THINK THIS WILL GO DOWN, AND DO YOU WANT TO SEE?
