In the age of CGI, big budgets and unbelievable stunts, it's a great time to be an action star. And with three monster action franchises under his belt, it seems like Vin Diesel is making the most of the age of action. After starting out his career in the late '90s, Vin has steadily made himself the go-to man for anything involving fast cars and kick-ass fighting scenes, and at 49 he's showing absolutely no sign of slowing down!

Take a look at these five upcoming Vin Diesel films and let me know in the comments which ones you're most excited about seeing:

5. Furia - TBA

In 2015, Vin revealed plans for a brand new installment in the Chronicles of Riddick franchise called Furia. Given Vin's tight schedule, production is yet to begin on the film, though he's estimated it should get underway in early 2017.

At the moment we're a little light on details of Furia, with Riddick screenwriter David Twohy keeping the plot tightly guarded, though we do know that it should be rated R. There are also plans in place for a TV spinoff titled Merc City. Take a look at the video below to hear Vin talk more about Furia:

4. Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk - November 11, 2016

Based on the Ben Fountain novel of the same name, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk tells the story of a soldier fighting in Iraq, who returns home to be hailed a hero and sent on a "Victory Tour" across the US. Vin is set to play Shroom in the film, a sergeant Billy encounters while in Iraq. He stars alongside Kristen Stewart, Chris Tucker, Steve Martin and newcomer Joe Alwyn as Billy.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk is currently is post-production and will be released on November 11, 2016. Check out the trailer blow:

3. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 - May 5, 2017

After the popularity of the first Guardians film, it was a given that the crew would be reuniting for a sequel! Vin's role in Guardians of the Galaxy film is one which, due to the nature of Groot, is reduced to three or four words; but it's heartfelt nevertheless.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit screens on May 5, 2017 and will see Vin Diesel, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper all reprise their roles as the Guardians, along with James Gunn returning to direct.

2. xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage - January 20, 2017

Way back in 2002, Vin Diesel starred in as Xander Cage in xXx and 15 years later he's set to reprise the role in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

After being feared to be dead after the events of xXx: State of the Union, Xander Cage comes out of exile and races against ruthless warrior Xiang to be the first to recover a deadly weapon of mass destruction known as Pandora's Box.

The film sounds like it'll be pure action, and the images Vin has posted on his Instagram only serve to confirm our suspicions. We're yet to see a trailer for the film, but fear not, Vin has confirmed it will be released with the week!
