We will save you from the spoilers!
We will save you from the spoilers!

Attack on Titan Season 2 is set to show that the King is corrupted and the people want him overthrown! This will all have connections to the Titans in the walls that were revealed at the end of Season One. This will result in a rebellion, led by Captain Erwin Smith. This will lead to a massive conspiracy being unraveled, that results in the King not actually being the guy in charge. Instead, it will be revealed that the Reiss family have been in charge the whole time. Now, some may be wondering what is so special about this family that is running the land? Well, they have the ability to transform into Titans. The heir to the Reiss family has also been in the show since pretty much the start.

What's Ymir Hiding?

Ymir is that strange character you get in every show- the character that seems kind of strange and mysterious, and you just know the writers have big plans for them. Well, your hunch has been correct! Ymir is in fact another Titan-Shifter! She marks the 5th character with the ability to turn into a Titan form, after the Colossal, Armor, Female and Rogue Titans.

Ymir's Titan form.
Ymir's Titan form.

Ymir, turns into a smaller Titan than the others at only 6-7 meters tall, which makes her the smallest of the Titan-Shifters. However, this size is no disadvantage. Unlike other Titan-Shifters she has never been given an official name, but due to her smaller size she is extremely agile and quick, resulting in fans dubbing her the Dancing Titan. This will not be only Titan-Shifter's identity revealed in Attack on Titan Season 2: the identities of the Colossal and Armoured Titans will also be revealed.

Who Are the Colossal and Armoured Titans?

All the Titan-Shifters!
All the Titan-Shifters!

Bertolt and Reiner will be revealed at the Colossal and Armored Titans. This shouldn't come as to much of a shock, if you consider how often the two were pictured with Annie throughout the first season. It also explains why Reiner was not killed by Annie when she had him in her hand while in her Titan form. In fact, he wrote into her hand vital information for her to use in that moment. The next interesting part we will be seeing is a Titan unlike any other before.

The Beast Titan

Meet the Beast Titan!
Meet the Beast Titan!

The Beast Titan is unlike all other Titans. This Titan displays clear signs of intelligence, as he has a keen interest in the 3D Maneuvering Gear, and can talk. He has a level of intelligence unmatched by any other Titan, and he can take down the Colossal Titan. It will be revealed that he is another Titan-Shifter, but will be a new character to the anime called Zeke. The season will kick everything up a notch and will cover the "Clash of Titans" arc which will literally smash all fans sideways. The season will also see many long standing characters fall to their Titan foes.

The Shingeki no Kyojin manga is reported to be 60% finished according the editor, Hajime Isayama, meaning the series will have a total of 27 volumes. The first season covered the first four story arcs and the manga is currently only two story arcs ahead of that. Does this mean the second series will consist of only 13 episodes, half of the first series? It explains why their has been such a long wait between the two seasons, but it does also suggest the third season of Attack of Titan may not be out until 2020.

What are you looking forward to the most in the second season?
