Everybody is going crazy about the newly released trailer for Wonder Woman, but that's not the only important Wonder Woman news in the media this week.

Lynda Carter — the original Wonder Woman — celebrates her 65th birthday this week and we couldn't be more thrilled for her. Let's celebrate the most iconic lady in the history of superheroism with a look back at Wonder Woman's top 5 moments!

1. Taking Down The Baroness Von Gunther

In the second episode, Wonder Woman encounters a nemesis in the Baroness Von Gunther. The final showdown between Wonder Woman and the Baroness could rival the classic 60's Batman fight sequences — they fight inside a large mansion and then take a tumble down the lawn. Wonder Woman apprehends the Baroness in the only way Wonder Woman does — with her golden lasso. Fighting for freedom, justice and the American way, taking down one Nazi leader at a time!

2. Taking Down A Helicopter with Her Lasso

Just when you thought Wonder Woman couldn't get any stronger, she goes and pulls a helicopter out of the sky with her lasso. Is there anything she can't do?

3. Saving The World From A Volcanic Apocalypse

Saving the world is no easy task, but Wonder Woman refused to let mankind die in a blaze of glory, instead putting herself in the line of fire. The mad man scientist would not get his volcanic paradise because Wonder Woman saves the day — and the world — again!

4. Taking On Marcia In The Pilot Episode

"They didn't teach you to fight fair!"

The very first episode saw Wonder Woman arrive in the United States and take down a Nazi spy ring led by Marcia — Steve Trevor's girlfriend! Wonder Woman soon saw that she was disposed of in an appropriate fashion with amazing fight sequence that was revolutionary for its time! Take that, Marcia!

5. Stopping The Bomb and Saving I.R.A.C

When criminal mastermind Havitol stole top computer intelligence — including the IADC's valuable I.R.A.C, Wonder Woman intercepts and rescues her computer best friend before Havitol can blow them to kingdom come. The intensity of the scene is heart-racing!

Lynda Carter's performance defined a generation and became synonymous with Wonder Woman. Even though we're excited about the new movie — and her appearance in Justice League — we know that nobody will ever be able to touch what Carter did for the character.
