Thanks, Obama — for being born! Today marks the 55th birthday of our 44th Commander in Chief, Barack Obama. He already gets advance episodes of Game of Throneseven though he has trouble remembering everyone who died in the show — so we're not sure what birthday present could possibly be better. But as Obama's presidency comes to a close, there's no question that there are already hordes of movie deals being shopped around Hollywood's inner circles about him.

Obama has already been widely portrayed on shows like Saturday Night Live and Key and Peele, butI'm excited to see what stories directors and screenwriters will choose to tell about our leader after he steps out of the Oval Office. Better yet, which young actors will be tapped to play our nation's first African American President.

Below is a list of 28 actors who have played United States presidents in various movies, shows and miniseries:
