Over the past few weeks, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has done his very best impression of a high school mean girl, posting passive aggressive comments most likely aimed at his Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel. Vin must have done something to annoy the Rock, because the Rock has been on the prowl for some good old fashioned beef.

The normally super social Vin Diesel has remained remarkably quiet about the whole thing. That is, until now. In a hefty 22-minute Facebook video, he thanks his 100+ million fans, attributing his success and that of the entire Fast franchise to them. He also shares an interesting fun fact about the Rock, and it's not what you might have expected.

Check out his video now. The comments about the Rock start around 22 minutes in.

Vin reveals that Luke Hobbs, the role Dwayne Johnson portrays in the films, was originally intended for Tommy Lee Jones. But before the the film went into production, a Facebook plea for Vin and the Rock to work together made the actor and producer change his mind:

"Back in the fifth film, when I was asking who should I work with, the reason why we brought Dwayne Johnson into 'Fast 5' was because of you! There was a girl named Jen Kelly who said, 'I would love to see you guys work together on-screen.' And so, we gave a role that was initially written for Tommy Lee Jones but we gave it to Dwayne, and he shined in it."

You hear that, Mr. The Rock? You SHINE.

Beef is not on the menu today!

Although, is that really a good thing? The Rock seemed to be under the impression that conflict could be a good thing on a movie set. Check out that article here.

And of course, it wouldn't be a Vin Diesel post without a shout-out to his amazing fans and his right-hand woman, Michelle Rodriguez:

"Now know this: Without you, I would not be doing 'Fast 8'... You helped me all along with 'Fast 8.' From the second we started our Facebook page. When the Letty character was killed in the fourth one, because of all of you, and because of the petitions and because of all of those beautiful Dom/Letty videos you used to make. You can look 'em up. They're there! You used to call them 'Dotty.' Because of those videos, we were able to get the studio to bring her character back and the franchise has been better because of it."

Let's zoom away from the stench of beef with these 12 insane car chase scenes. Don't miss #6! ;)
