The multi-talented Adam Glass, Executive Producer and writer of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, is having fun with his Supernatural family. Glass, who is a former Executive Producer and writer on Supernatural, has set the that show's community abuzz with a flurry of recent tweets that indicate Supernatural alums Matt Cohen, Osric Chau, Richard Speight, Jr., Rob Benedict, and possibly more, are set to appear on his current show.

At least one of the episodes was written by Erica Meredith, who has teased a lot about the show, including some fun Supernatural Easter Eggs.

MATT COHEN WILL HAVE A RECURRING ROLE

Matt Cohen, who plays Dr. Griffen Munro on General Hospital, will be setting aside his scrubs for a bit to pick up a badge and gun, for at least a few episodes. TVLine recently reported that Cohen, who also played Young John Winchester in CW's fan-favorite Supernatural, has been cast in a recurring role on the CBS show Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Cohen is reported to be playing Ryan Garrett, the son of Gary Sinise's character Jack Garrett. Ryan has joined his father in the FBI in the show's second season. Cohen is no stranger to crime drama, having previously appeared in four episodes of How To Get Away With Murder, as well as an episode of Criminal Minds.

Watch Matt in one of Supernatural's epochal moments:

ROB BENEDICT AND RICHARD SPEIGHT, JR. WILL PLAY BEST FRIENDS

According to Meredith, Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr. will play best friends in episode 205, titled "Made In...". Supernatural fans know what a perfect casting this is, as the two are best friends in real life. Together they also recently produced the web series Kings Of Con.

OSRIC CHAU MAKES A MYSTERIOUS APPEARANCE

Joining his fellow Supernatural alum, Osric Chau is said to be appearing as a mysterious character named 'Gui' in episode 203. 'Gui' fittingly translates to 'Ghost' and we're sure that the character will be as interesting as his 'Kevin Tran' was on Supernatural.

SUPERNATURAL FAMILY

While the four actors, Chau, Speight, Jr., Cohen, and Benedict never appeared in a Supernatural episode together, they have shared the same stage many times. The four of them, along with numerous other Supernatural actors, join each other at least once a month at Supernatural conventions around the world. One of the highlights of these conventions is their popular Friday night Karaoke parties, where they join their fans in a rousing night of singing.

If anyone has had the fortune to participate in one of these karaoke parties, they can say that, without a doubt, #SPNfamily is more than a hashtag. The Supernatural cast, crew, and fans really are a family and their stints on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders wont be the last time these friends work together.

Erin Karpluk Also Cast In Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders

After posting this article, Executive Producer Adam Glass pointed out that Erin Karpluk, who played two different characters in two episodes of Supernatural (in Seasons One and Nine), has also joined the cast of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. This only emphasizes the idea that we may see other Supernatural actors appearing. My vote is for Winchester Matriarch Samantha Smith, but really, seeing more of any of the #SPNFamily is a good thing.
