While having the embarrassing ins and outs (sorry) of your virginity story broadcast to the entire world isn't most people's idea of fun, Joe Jonas has refused to apologize for shouting about his first time with Ashley Greene from the rooftops... or, Reddit to be more exact.
After Joe let the interwebs know all about the awkward, fumbling, condom sourcing drama that was his first time with his then-girlfriend, Ashley Greene, the former Twilight star wasted no time subtly letting her fans know she wasn't happy about it.
Although many people were totally sympathetic towards Ashley about such an intimate story being shared without her consent, Joe Jonas is sticking to his guns and isn't sorry about his actions. An interviewer for Entertainment Tonight approached the star and asked him if he had any regrets about the online overshare and Jonas replied:
"I don’t know. I think life’s too short, you know? I mean ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world. I’m not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my hear."
While it is totally cool that Joe Jonas wants to live his own truth and all of that nonsense, gaining publicity from sharing the private details of your sex life at the expense of others seems a bit tasteless. I mean, did he really have to drop Ashley's name in there when the story would have been just as interesting without?
