Was I the only who, after watching 's The Amazing Spider-Man, thought that Peter Parker's incredible abilities included sewing complex bodysuits out of old basketballs?
If you weren't a huge fan of Spidey's last costume, then you might be stoked to hear that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will see a return to a more traditional get-up. According to Nuke The Fridge, a source close to the production of the upcoming sequel claims that the next Spidey suit will be more faithful to the one worn in the Spider-Man comic books.
That probably means something along the lines of what wore in 's original trilogy, but now with the proper raised webbing. The current suit boasts delicately narrow red details, micro thin inset web lines and spindle symbols. It's very appropriate considering the character's arachnid inspiration. Nevertheless, it's too busy for my taste and the spider logo on the chest is barely recognizable. I am nothing but excited about an old-school re-imagining.
Regardless of my feelings of the new suit design-wise, ALL will be forgiven if the Mechanical Web-Shooters are there. Agree? Disagree? Let me now what you think in the comments.
