Robert Pattinson Gets Playful in Cronenberg-Themed Shoot For Premiere

Based on Don DeLillo's 2003 novel, Cosmpolis follows the jagged one-day rise and fall of multi-billionaire Eric Packer (Robert Pattinson) as he drives across Manhattan in his limo to get a haircut. As you do.

The movie comes to us from David Cronenberg, famous for coining the 'body horror' genre of movie, and has a massive list of successful films to put his name to, including Scanners, Crash, Dead Ringers, Videodrome, The Fly, and The Brood (just to scratch the surface!).

Pattinson got weird for Premiere and bust out his best poses in re-enacting scenes from some of Cronenberg's most famous flicks. Just check out the photos of Pattinson below!

Strangely incredible, no? Say what you like about him — unless, that is, it's not complimentary — but the Twilight star is definitely taking his Cronenberg collaboration Cosmopolis very seriously!

The erstwhile Edward was a one-note character that didn’t give Pattinson much to do other than brood. What about these pics? Do they signal that something more serious is in the pipeline for Rob?

View a whole load more of these weird and wonderful pics from the French edition of Premiere, and see what you think!
