How has Marvel reimagined The Falcon in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'?

When it comes to reimagining Marvel comics for the modern day, there's always one major bone of contention: Should the costumes be loving renditions of the paper and ink originals, or should they adapted to something a bit more 'plausible'? Personally, I'm a fan of the latter, but then again, in some cases I never read the original comics. When it comes to The Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it looks like directors Joe and Anthony Russo agree with me. Check out the new concept art of The Falcon:

How much are you willing to bet it's some kind of military developed super-suit? Anyway, this certainly isn't our final look at Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, but the fact this art was released with the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One box set suggests it's probably pretty official.
