The man of 6 billion faces, Sacha Baron Cohen has unveiled his latest, and this one looks set to be his most politically and socially biting character yet. With commentaries on the Gadaffi regime and the Hussein dictatorship …
<Cough> Sorry let's cut the nonsense. While the character was based on certain controversial political figures, looking at this trailer, The Dictator looks set to be another Baron-Cohen-offensive-comedy-success. Those with closed minds reading this should beware. Here there be human-rights offender jokes.
For now you can gaze in wonder at The Dictator in his opulent gold palaces and Hummers as he arrives in New York to bring censorship to the masses.
Opening with footage of none other than The POTUS himself and Hilldog Clinton, and featuring zingers like "America the birthplace of AIDS" and "Megan Fox you are much less hairy than a Kardashian" and closing with multiple murders in on running track (sorry 1972 Munich Olympics. Too soon?), if you're not offended by something in this trailer then you're either an urbane New Yorker, or very open minded.
Gadaffi must be spinning in his shallow grave.
