Director Adam Shankman has told THR about the relationship between Russel Brand and Alec Baldwin. 

Baldwin, who we all know as Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock will play strip club owner Dennis Dupree who is finding that his club may face closure. Brand will be playing rocker Lonnie who is one of the central parts in the movie.

On Baldwin and Brand's relationship Shankman recalled:

He [Baldwin] and Russell ended up being like Tracy and Hepburn. They were so giddy, and they did everything together.

Rock of Ages opens in the US June 14.
