Early reports that Jessica Chastain (The Tree Of Life, The Help) would be starring in Iron Man 3
have been quashed by the actress herself,Sorry to say that Iron Man 3 isn’t going to work out. My schedule is jammed packed and I can’t fit anything else in

But fear not, another actress is already in talks to play the part of a scientist, heavily involved in the creation of a nanotechnology, Extremis, that ends up in the hands of terrorists.
Rebecca Hall of Vicky Christina Barcelona and The Prestige fame is currently in talks with Marvel and Disney about taking up the role left vacant by Chastain, reports Variety.
Robert Downey Jr. will be returning for what could be his last outing as billionaire Tony Stark and his superhero alter-ego Iron Man, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Don Cheadle as War Machine.
Filming begins this month and Disney has announced May 3, 2013 as a possible release date.
