JUST when I was ready to switch off on this movie, Sony releases a trailer so fantastic, so gripping, so… human, that The Amazing Spider-Man suddenly jumped all the way to the top of my most anticipated movies list!
The video below features the previous trailer that arrived last week PLUS what seems to be an entire extra scene of Spidey goodness. Watch as Peter Parker attempts to save the life of a screaming child trapped in a flaming car that happens to be falling off a bridge.
The camera is tight, the CGI is minimal and I get a real sense of urgency and danger from the entire scene. Nice work Sony, that’s 1 ticket you’ll be selling. Now to work on the rest of the world, eh?
