Due to be released in 2013, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
Speaking at Cannes director Roger Rodriguez said to Empire magazine -via ComicBookMovie- that he intends to push the comic book style of the series even further with the second film.
I really held back the first time, because I didn’t know whether audiences would go for it. So it ended up looking like a real movie, but in black and white, with a few flourishes. This one is going to push way further towards the books. It’s going to shock and surprise people
The first film was already stylish as hell, and we’re looking forward to being shocked and surprised by the next part of the saga. Just like the original, the film follows multiple, interweaving plot strands and will be a prequel and a sequel which means we could also be in for a surprise with casting. Who knows who might come back for the second film in future announcements?
