Roland Emmerich has a slightly neurotic tendency to blow things up. Big things.

Paris, the Yellowstone Park, the White House, you name it. Half of the planet has already been ravaged in Emmerichs hands! In this sense its no wonder that the director of Independance Day and The Day After Tomorrow has cast his fair share of actors in the role of the President of the United States: The leader of the free world should have a few words to say, once Planet Earth goes to the dogs!

According to Deadline, Jamie Foxx soon might succeed Bill Pullman (Independence Day) and Danny Glover (The Day After Tomorrow) to become Emmerichs third movie president (Terry Layman played George Washington in The Patriot still,Washington was only a General there!) for his upcoming, dare we say slightly generic sounding, Die Hard in the White House flick White House Down. Channing Tatum is already set to star as a secret agent, who has to save the day, when the White House gets attacked.
