Female Lead Cast in 'White House Down'

German director Roland Emmerich seems really keen on destroying the White House sooner, rather than later.

, which is described as Die Hard in the White House is speeding up. Yesterday we reported on Jamie Foxx being cast as the President of the United States, whose residence gets attacked. He joined already-cast hunk Channing Tatum as the secret agent, who has to go all John McLane on the terrorists.

Now, according to Deadline, Maggie Gyllenhaal (Secretary) was cast. No word yet, on which role she is playing though, except that its the female lead.

With a casting velocity like that, we shouldnt have to wait long until the main villain is cast.
