You might expect a studio that has presented us with some awesome movies like Up, Wall-E, Ratatouille and Toy Story 3 to keep upping their own game with each of their new movie releases. And you’d be right, with the exception of Cars 2.

Perhaps it’s by way of apology that with Brave, DisneyPixar offers us a stout-hearted return to form. The plot is more than intriguing; the courageous Merida confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts, and the ensuing peril forces her to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a ghastly curse before its too late! Oh, and the images truly look vividly stunning!

DisneyPixar has just released two brand-new clips from the forthcoming movie. Check out ‘The Suitor’ and ‘Advice To Elinor’ below, via CBM:

Evidently, these two new sneak previews assure me that the movie is going to be great and don’t get me wrong it’s not that I’m not looking forward to Brave

. On the contrary, I’m desperately excited to see this pretty-much-guaranteed masterpiece. Our heroine Merida (Kelly MacDonald) hails from the Scottish highlands, and is the impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Great cast, great story, great visuals. It’s just that I’ve seen so many teasers for the DisneyPixar project now that I just can’t wait to see all the snippets in the context of the whole movie. And maybe actually be surprised by something!

Not long to wait until that date now, I suppose. Tune your bagpipes and darn your kilts, folks, because Brave hits cinemas June 22nd.
