Is This Really The First Promo Poster For 'Transformers 4'?

We’re been seeing a lot of promotional materials for Transformers 4

popping up lately, which is suspicious considering that the film is still in the treatment/outline phase, according to IMDb Pro. This means that Michael Bay’s last Transformers film doesn’t even have a script yet.

Sure enough, all of it has turned out to be fan made, just like those annoying fake trailers on YouTube, but according to Argentinian website Cine1, this dark and blurry image is what the first poster for the still untitled sequel will look like:

It looks… fairly amateurish to be honest. Why is Optimus being hidden in darkness while the space between his legs is blindingly bright? Even the tagline ‘Evil Will Burn’, sounds a little bit nonsensical and poorly thought through.

Are we sure that this is what Michael Bay & Co. will go for? ComicBookMovie.com claims that this is a mock-up of the poster, so while the real thing will hopefully be a little brighter and more in focus, this is what we’re getting.
