Here’s a scary thought: Crazy Charlie Sheen could be the next President of the US! Thankfully, it’s not for real. The star of Two and a Half Men is in negotiations to play the President in the sequel to the 2010 action exploitation move Machete Kills

According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Robert Rodriguez (, ) recently made the announcement on Twitter, stating:

I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better? More soon…

Actually, I can probably think of a handful or more suitable actors to play the President, Rodriguez! I’m also very amused by your casting choice.

The sequel to the messy, violent, shallow, and brilliant movie Machete is currently in production, with Danny Trejo as Machetethe meanest Mexican in town, and Sofia Vergara and Amber Heard also on board, as well as Michelle Rodriguez and Mel Gibson.

The new story sees Machete being called upon by the US government to stop a cartel leader and an arms dealer who have a weapon in space. Seriously? I’m in equal parts skeptical, surprised, and excited about this… What about you?
