When you’ve got a film based on a line of toys, it’s pretty much a given that it’s going to feature some bad-ass guns, gadgets and vehicles. It looks like the G.I. Joe: Retaliation
team haven’t disappointed us. These photos from Comic Book Movie showcase a “17’ combat dune buggy armed with a 50 caliber machine gun and a radically transformed 796 Ducati attack bike” both of which appeared on Spike TV’s Powerblock last weekend. Just take a look at this pair of mean machines below:
They’re like fire and ice: the sleek sinister look of the COBRA attack bike compared with the rough and ready look of the Joe’s buggy. Both are unspeakably coolthat goes without sayingbut it’s a nice touch that the producers have gone to the trouble of making them fit the story. With the Joe team out in the wilderness they’re forced to make do with what they’ve got, whereas COBRA’s government backing means they can splash out on the latest tech. Sadly, this is the closest we’ll come to seeing the two in action for a bit, with the film being pushed back until March next year.
