First Look At Chloe Moretz On Set For 'Carrie'

We’re probably most used to seeing her in a purple wig taking down an assortment of bad guys with swords, guns and martial arts but now Chlo Moretz is going for a completely different look in the Steven King book-film remake Carrie

. Judging from this on set photo from Splash News Online it seems like she’s got Carrie’s outcast look down to a T.

Looking every bit as weird and beautiful as Sissy Spacek did in the original, from the ill fitting cardigan and old fashioned dress, right down to the minute details like the tasteful silver cross a constant reminder of Carrie’s strict Christian upbringing and the influence of her dogmatic mother. Obviously, as the cast have stressed before, this won’t be a shot-for-shot remake, with some changes to the plot and the whole story being updated for a modern audience. As cool as she looks now, we all know that it’s only a matter of time before Carrie’s drenched in blood and completely loses her cool.
