There are worse things in life than writing about a star-studded male stripper movie for a living, but when the actors playing the strippers in question start behaving like catty divas, work suddenly becomes bliss.
When Channing Tatum bares his true feelings about Magic Mike costar Alex Pettyfer, its not pretty. ‘He hates Alex,’ a source tells Hot Stuff. ‘They had massive fights on set.’ The beefcake to blame, insists another insider, is Pettyfer, 22, who plays a character based on former male revue dancer Tatum, 32. ‘Alex was a jerk to everyone during filming for no reason,’ says the insider. ‘He thinks hes the star of the movie, not Channing or Matthew McConaughey.’
The source even went so far as saying that Tatum swore to never work with Pettyfer again.
Truth be told, every actor probably thinks he is the star of the film. If a certain amount of vanity wasnt part of your character, you wouldnt be an actor in the first place. But when a film is called Magic Mike
Now, we wouldn’t be covering this if Pettyfer didn’t already have a pretty bad reputation even before this man meat fest that the ladies enjoyed so much came along. So either someone tames that young buck or he may not go on to have a very big career in Hollywood after all.
