We’ve seen viral videos from PrometheusWeyland Industries, The Amazing Spider-Man‘s OsCorp, and now RoboCop

baddie Omnicorp is getting in on the act. The faceless organisation offers new battlefield-tested security solutions. The ad starts off well enough: I’d love to see a future with less crime and no dead policemen, but are legions of hunter-killer drones and missile-equipped, Gatling gun-toting battle droids really the way to do it? Check out the video for yourself (via Empire):

I have a nasty feeling that this could all go horribly wrong; just as well, then, that they’re also announcing the RC-2000. No prizes for guessing who that might be. If the video has piqued your interest, then check out the company’s website here.

Just like we’ve seen on viral websites before, all the menus are currently ‘Access Denied’, but we’re sure to see more and more viral footage, trailers, games and other tie-ins as the film nears its August 9, 2013 release date.
