Have you ever come face to face with a giant troll ready to rip your face off? For those lucky enough to attend this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, that’s exactly what awaits.
These big-beasties Bert, Tom and Bill are the latest creation from Weta, the visual effects company working on Peter Jackson‘s eagerly anticipated The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
. Although they look terrifying (they love the taste of ‘manflesh’!) they are also not the most intelligent dudes around. Just as well really, as the our intrepid Hobbit heroes almost become a roast dinner for them after a heist goes wrong. Don’t mess with the Trolls man!The SDCC runs until July 15th, so expect more cool stuff and general Hobbit awesomeness to come your way before it closes it’s doors.
