and as a way to match that, Warner Bros. announced that Affleck is being eyed for their next big project? Ha. According to Variety, the 39-year-old actor is expected to enter discussion with the studio’s producers within the next few days.

While we know Affleck best for his mad acting skills, the , and star has been experimenting behind the camera recently and has proved himself to be quite the indie mastermind. He has competently excelled as a director in the smaller, more personal movies that he’s taken on. His crime mystery dramas and were both excellent and raised Affleck into the “critically acclaimed” category. His upcoming political drama Argo

, set during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis, also looks to be shaping up exceptionally.

Could you see Affleck doing a good job with the Justice League movie, or will he be in way over his head? It wasn’t all that long ago that Affleck wasn’t taken seriously as an actor, let alone a writer or director. That was before the critical and commercial success of his directing projects; perhaps some careful handling of the Warner Bros. movie might see a real superhero sensation.
