Remember the time Shia LaBeouf went full-frontal for Icelandic band Sigur Ros’ music video? Well, it seems like the actor isnt over shocking us with his shapely and provocative ass just yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf is in talks to join Nymphomaniac, the controversial Danish director Lars von Trier‘s two-part soft-core porn drama emphasis on porn.
Some major talent is already signed on for what is sure to be one heck of a film experience. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard and possibly Willem Dafoe and Nicole Kidman (in a small role) are set to star in the film, about the erotic adventures of a woman (Gainsbourg) from her youth to age 50, as told by her husband (Skarsgard). So think of it as artsy porn with acclaimed Hollywood stars. Sadly, not everybody is going to have sex on the screen, but we get a feeling that nudity won’t be scarce.
The two-part erotic drama will start shooting in September. Von Trier () is planning on releasing two different versions of the film, with one being a lot more sexually explicit, possibly a soft-core version and a hard-core one.
The young Transformers actor has been delving into more independent films lately. He has a leading role in Untitled Terrence Malick Project
coming out later this month and also stars in Robert Redford‘s The Company You Keep, which will be making its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.Check out the headline-making music video to get a glimpse of LaBeouf’s full-frontal stint. Be warned though, the clip is most definitely NSFW and really artsy.
will probably be hitting theaters Summer 2013, just in time for the film festival season.
