Following her breakup with Robert Pattinson, Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been getting on with the difficult task of promoting herself and getting ready for the last film of the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2
. We’ve already covered the ins and outs of K-Stew’s fling, so we’ll leave that in the past and focus on her latest interview in October’s issue of UK Vogue, where she talks about authenticity, maturity and nudity. First off, here’s her cover shoot (via Celebitchy):Showcasing her new, more grown up look, Stewart looks a little bored by the whole shoot. While the photos might not be up to much, the star does break some big news about her views on film and fame. The ever-so-modest A-lister rejects the idea that she could ever be a packaged star:
I know if you havent thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I cant. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, Im not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people.
Stewart might be clumsy but she’s definitely not the star she was when she shot to mainstream attention all those years ago, joking:
Im starting to carry a bag and even put on lipstick. Very mature for me.
Last but not least Stewart dishes the dirt on her sex scenes in On the Road
, which she dealt with tactfully in previous interviews:Its kind of insane to watch now. Im like, Who is that? But I think as every actress says when they do this is it just felt so right.
The full interview will be available come October in the UK, and we can only assume US fans will get access to K-Stew’s revelatory interview too. However you feel about the star, it’s great to see her getting back to work and hopefully letting the media move away from her tender private life.
