An adaptation of August Strindberg's play by the screen legend Liv Ullman

Liv Ullmann, the star of numerous Ingmar Bergman classics, brings August Strindberg's play Miss Julie to the big screen.

Set in 19th century, the play tackles themes of power, class and sex in a decidedly Scandinavian (read: rather bleak) fashion.
