In the lead-up to 's Man of Steel being released, Warner Bros. is seriously pushing his name along with the upcoming 300: Rise of an Empire. Even though he isn't directing it and is only attached as one of a dozen producers, it's understandable why the studio would want audiences to associate his name with the upcoming project, seeing as how actual director isn't a known name and Snyder's star is (potentially) on the rise.

We've seen the first still, and the studio has just released the first official poster:

Ah yes, it's the old, "Throw in the name of the guy who directed it previously so audiences will be tricked into thinking he's also heavily involved in this one" trick. Well-played, marketing team, well-played.
