Now, while #ThorRagnarok may still be the best part of a year away from hitting the big screen, it can occasionally seem as though we already know far too much about the '#MarvelStudios project. After all, with the newly unveiled plot synopsis having confirmed many fan's theories about the film's narrative, and casting announcements coming thick and fast, it's becoming increasingly difficult to avoid knowing far more about the movie than we might actually like.
Despite that overload of information, however, we're yet to actually catch an official glimpse of what the movie will actually look like, with only a handful of social media-teased behind-the-scenes images having emerged thus far. Which, of course, makes it really rather intriguing that...
We Finally Have Our First Official Look At 'Thor Ragnarok'
The only problem? The image (above) isn't actually all that much more revealing than the previous semi-unofficial sneak peeks at the movie that the likes of director #TaikaWaititi and star #ChrisHemsworth have been throwing onto social media of late.
What it does do, however, is give us a sneaky, shadowy glimpse of #Thor's new costume, which looks to have been simplified somewhat, perhaps with the intention of offering up a stripped down version of #Marvel's iconic Norse adventurer. Other than that, the image largely just highlights how cool Taika Waititi looks all the damn time, as well as that Chris Hemsworth remains distinctly ripped. Both of which, if we're being entirely honest, we probably already knew. Y'know, in our heart of hearts.
On the plus side, though, the image does make Thor: Ragnarok seem an even more enticing cinematic prospect - and managed to do so without giving away any major plot points. Which is nice...
