Today A&E announced a live 30-minute special, Bates Motel: After Hours, which will have fans interacting with the stars and creators of the show, along with behind-the-scenes video and content.
Bates Motel: After Hours will broadcast in front of a live audience after the second season's premiere on March 3, 11pm ET. (Norma Bates), (Norman Bates), Max Thieriot (Dylan Massett) and exec producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin will all be participating in the chat.
Bates Motel is the contemporary prequel to Psycho, telling the story of how Norman Bates became the gender-bending killer everyone knows and loves. The best part of the series? Watching Vera Farmiga do her classic freak outs, obviously:
Seriously, I love this show. It's my latest binge-watch on Netflix.
I'm a little late to the party, but I'm so happy I'm caught up for the second season. The first season did pretty well for A&E, getting 3 million total viewers, making it the most-watched drama in the network's history.
The idea of watching Norman's backstory seemed irrelevant, until I actually caught the show and realized how entertaining it actually is.
