Unless you’re a die-hard Fan-dler, you might not be aware what upcoming Adam Sandler releases there are set to be and what he's up to in 2017. So to help keep you on top of this gentle joker‘s anticipated new movie releases, we've made a handy list of new & upcoming Adam Sandler films. Given that he's is in the middle of a now 8-picture deal with Netflix as well as pursuing other projects, there are plenty of new Adam Sandler movies coming out we can look forward to!

1. The Meyerowitz Stories

While most of Sandler's films are comedies, long time fans will know that he's not afraid to shy away from more dramatic projects, such as The Meyerowitz Stories either. Sandler will star alongside an array of A-list celebs in this film which is about an estranged family getting together in New York to celebrate the career of the family patriarch and artist, Harold (Dustin Hoffman). The film was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21, 2017 and has received rave reviews from critics, many stating that it's the best example of Sandler's work in recent years. Netflix own the rights, and it'll be available to stream on the platform from October 13.

2. Hotel Transylvania 3

After the big success of Hotel Transylvania 1 and 2, the franchise will return with a third installment in 2018. Director of the first two Hotel Transylvania films, Genndy Tartakovsky, will also return to direct this latest movie. Here's Sony's official synopsis:

Mavis surprises Dracula with a family voyage on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship so he can take a vacation from providing everyone else's vacation at the hotel. The rest of Drac's Pack cannot resist going along and once they leave port, romance zings Drac when he meets the mysterious ship captain Ericka. Now it's Mavis' turn to play the overprotective parent, keeping her dad and Ericka apart. Little do they know that his "too good to be true" love interest is actually a descendent of Van Helsing, arch nemesis to Dracula and all monsters!

3. The Week Of

Sandler will be teaming up once again with comedy legend, Chris Rock for Netflix original movie, The Week Of. The two play fathers of a bride and groom and follows their antics in the week leading up to the wedding. The script is cowritten by Sandler, and director, Robert Smigel a veteran Saturday Night Live writer, so we have high hopes that this Adam and Chris fest will *ahem* rock. The Week Of will premiere on Netflix in 2018 and will be the fourth Netflix film resulting from Sandler's contract with the streaming service.
