Well, it seems like everyone is still trying to make happen. I was on board this train a few years ago until she decided to dump her amazingly talented photographer girlfriend for . The two met on the set of their 2009 film The Rum Diary. Definitely great PR in terms of elevating your celebrity for tabloid magazines, but not necessarily a great move for someone trying to break in the industry as a force when you're known as the "other woman." But hey, it happens.

Now that Heard's new film, Paranoia, she's promoting the film in Flaunt. Naturally, people are asking a whole lot of questions about her relationship with Depp. The article also tries to make her come across as a badass - She drives a muscle car! She avoids paparazzi! She's a casual rocker-chick! Okay. Whatever.

Some choice quotes about her life:

"I want to be an artist. I don’t want to be a celebrity."

You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub…Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like and or and , where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it."

and finally:

“I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don’t want to change just because people are watching. I’ve always been the person who says what she wants."

What are y'all's thoughts on Amber Heard? Is she killing her career before she's even made it to the A-list?
