She may only be four years old, but has landed her first paid acting gig, and the salary that she's commanding will make you want to punch yourself in the face at the unfairness of it all. The daughter of and is to star opposite her mother in Maleficent, and TMZ are reporting that the youngster is raking in a mind-blowing $3,000/week. If that wasn't enough make to make you green with envy, she's also getting a per diem of $60/day.

Nice work if you can get it.

Maleficent is a retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale with Jolie taking on the role of the titular evil witch, and Vivienne playing the young Princess Aurora in the film. It's not due for release until June 2, 2014, by which time the young Jolie-Pitt will have earned approximately $4 trillion (give or take a couple of bucks) and will have been in rehab three times due to a crippling addiction to Sour Patch Kids.

Just kidding.

In all seriousness though, I don't really have a problem with Vivienne earning that much money. If that's the going rate for an actor in Hollywood it shouldn't matter how old you are, or how wealthy your parents are. Whether said parents should be pushing someone so young into the Hollywood spotlight though is a different point entirely.

What do you guys think? Is $3,000/week an obscene amount of money to pay a child? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
